About the Anaheim Heritage Festival

The Anaheim Heritage Festival is an annual musical event where orchestral and vocal groups plus bands from middle and high schools throughout the country gather to show off their skills.

piano2It features three days of music and comradery and a boatload of fun at Disneyland in Anaheim. Participating schools will enjoy passes to Disneyland and Universal Studios, but the real fun happens at the performances.

Groups will compete for awards. The second and third days will involve student performances at specific venues. (Locations will vary depending on the musical group and festival date.) A panel of three judges will provide feedback on each group’s performance and evaluate them. After performing on the second day, students will spend the rest of the day in Disneyland’s California Adventure.

After performances on the third day, groups can enjoy running around Disneyland until the awards ceremony in the park. During this time, musical groups with the top scores in their classes as well as outstanding individual musicians will be honored.

Participation in the Anaheim Heritage Festival is only available for middle and high school musical groups. However, parents and spectators may be able to come to the awards ceremony in Disneyland Park.

Anaheim Heritage Festival Dates

For 2016, the Anaheim Heritage Festival will take place every Wednesday through Saturday in March. Schools can no longer enter groups into the 2016 festival dates, but signups are available for festival dates in 2017.
